About Marlo Adelle Greta
I was raised in a household where creativity and the arts were treasured and encouraged as necessities. When I was 14, I founded a hair accessory business designing and producing over 150 hand made products. My Bridal and Prom hair fascinators sold in boutiques around the country as well as online and internationally. While I was in college, I was shipping custom designed bridal accessories worldwide.
My entrepreneurial start earned me press in magazines (Including SEVENTEEN), newspapers (Wall Street Journal) and radio as well as two national scholarships to TCU with a major in Fashion Merchandising and Fine Art.
I completed internships in London, England with couture milliner Edwina Ibbotson designing hats and fascinators for Royal Ascot, at FINN Jewelry in NYC and as a design intern with Cynthia Rowley on Bleecker Street. I’ve got a solid working knowledge of apparel and accessory design and production, event planning, marketing and illustration.
I’ve got real strengths in trend forecasting, hand sketching, hand painting and illustration, technical CAD sketching and innovative ideas in an array of fashion areas including accessories, apparel and jewelry.
I’ve also traveled internationally with School Aid to underprivileged schools teaching painting and painting murals in schools and taught art in a home studio to children all through high school and on breaks in college. .
I’m looking for an entry-level design position in the Fashion Industry in New York. I’ve run my own business, traveled, worked in fascinating places and developed new ideas daily. Now it’s the time to join a great company and build a lifetime career. I’m ready to start.
